We booked with Wiwigo online on 3 June 2016 morning for a one way cab service for travelling from Manali to Kasauli in Himachal Pradesh. The service charge was Rs 4,752 and as per the option available, we opted for payment upon completion of service.

The car was to pick us up from our hotel in Manali at 5 am on 4 June 2016.

An sms was received from Wiwigo at 9 in the same morning informing the booking ID 10006588 and informing that cab and driver details would be sent 4 hours before the pick-up time.

Also, we were contacted by one Wiwigo executive the same afternoon who enquired whether our booking was confirmed. Upon our confirmation, the executive informed that a text on cab and driver details would be sent to our mobile/contact number later on.

Since we were to be picked up at 5am, we went to bed early. When we woke up at 3am for getting ready, we checked for any message from Wiwigo. A message came indeed but in it Wiwigo informed ‘We have cancelled the ticket. Reason: Cab not available’. There was not a word of regret in the message.

Cab cancellation by Wiwigo put us in a very difficult situation. We already had booking in a hotel in Kasauli from that day. After a lot of effort and paying Rs 1,500 more than the rate prevailing at that time, we could get a cab and finally reached Kasauli hotel in the evening.

Due to the irresponsible action by Wiwigo, we lost a half day of our tour and had to spend Rs 1,500 more. We want Wiwigo appreciates the trouble and harassment that we suffered and compensates us the amount of Rs 1,500 that we had to spend more due to their action.
